Whether you are looking to import your historic data, or just the best way to upload your data, it is now very easy and often a lot faster than many people think. Outlined below is the best way of uploading your activities as well as the process of importing historical data. Having accurate and correct data will not only allow you more access to our tools and analytics but also help you identify trends and how to improve your performance.
Syncing your Today’s Plan account with other accounts
Within Today’s Plan you can link your account with a number of other platforms so at the end of your activity your files simply upload automatically without you needing to plug your device into the computer. In addition to this a lot of these will allow you to automatically sync your workouts from Today’s Plan to your device such as your Wahoo, Garmin or even on Zwift.
You can manage your other 3rd party connections under your “Connections” tab from within your account settings. It is important to note that you will only see options for 3rd parties that you need to connect with from our end (eg Garmin Connect, Fitbit, etc). All others that you need to connect with from within their app will only appear once you have established the connection (eg Wahoo, Zwift, etc).

Manual recording of files
If you are unable to record your activity in a file or do not have a device to record your activities you can still manually record your statistics for the activity. You can do this from the “Upload an activity file” modal or by selecting the + icon on the calendar for a given day. You can then choose the fields you wish to record and save this.

This means that we can support files from a variety of devices and other platforms and with new data protection laws, it is now easier than ever to get a copy of your historical data from your training platform. Once you have a copy of all your files, make sure your settings are correct, particularly your threshold values, weight and data protection rules, and then you can simply drag and drop your files to begin uploading them.
Your data ultimately brings the tools and analytics to life in Today’s Plan and the more you have available, the greater the insight you can get into your training and in turn yield greater improvements in your performance.
